The Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission(SSC) is a great way for 12th pass students to fulfill their dream of getting a government job . Here is the detailed analysis of the exam: 

1.)Exam Pattern & Difficulty Level 

The selection process of SSC CHSL is mainly conducted in two stages( Tier 1 and Tier 2).

--Tier 1: It is a Computer Based Test (CBT). It consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) with 60 minutes to solve. Its difficulty level is generally Easy to Moderate.

--Tier 2: It consists of objective type questions as well as skill test / typing test. 

2.)Section- Wise Analysis 

--Reasoning ( General Intelligence): This is the most scoring section . Coding- Decoding and number series questions are easy to solve.

--Quantitative Aptitude(Maths): Its level is moderate. Most of the questions come from Profit and Loss, Trigonometry, and Interest. It can be easily cracked if the basics are strong . 

--English Language: In this Reading Comprehension , Synonyms/Antonyms and Jumbled Sentences are asked . This section is quite easy and scoring.

--General Awareness: This can be a bit unpredictable. It consists of questions from History,Politics, Geography and Current Affairs (last 6-8 months).
