SBI PO 2026 Mains Pattern Change: Data Analysis & Interpretation Now 60 Marks
State Bank of India (SBI) · 19 August 2026
State Bank of India has revised the SBI PO Mains 2026 examination pattern. The Data Analysis & Interpretation section now carries 60 marks (up from 35), making it the highest-weighted objective section. The Descriptive Paper (English) remains unchanged at 50 marks, 30 minutes.
Why it matters for exams
SBI PO aspirants must significantly ramp up DI preparation. The focus has shifted to table-based and caselet DI, which now constitutes approximately 12–15 questions in the expanded section. This brings SBI PO Mains closer to the pattern of management entrance exams like CAT.
