8 July (Tuesday) — Vectors Part 1 | Atomic Structure Part 1 | Cell: Unit of Life Part 1
Physics: Vectors Part 1
Start with the conceptual foundation: the difference between scalars and vectors, and why the distinction matters in mechanics. Cover Addition of Vectors (triangle law and parallelogram law), Resolution of Vectors into rectangular components, and Unit Vectors. Read the NCERT chapter fully before attempting the formula sheet. Target: 30–40 MCQs on scalar/vector addition and resolution.
Chemistry: Atomic Structure Part 1
Cover the Aufbau Principle, Aufbau Diagrams, and Hund's Rule in one sitting — these three rules together explain how electrons fill orbitals. Then move to writing complete Electronic Configurations for elements 1–36. This is rote + pattern recognition; drill it until configurations come without looking. Read the NCERT chapter and fill in the formula sheet. Target: 40–50 MCQs.
Biology: Cell: Unit of Life Part 1
Open with Cell Theory (three postulates — know them verbatim). Then distinguish Prokaryotic vs Eukaryotic cells in a comparison table: nucleus, organelles, size, examples. Finish with Cell Organelles & Functions — mitochondria, chloroplast, ribosomes, Golgi apparatus, ER, lysosomes, vacuoles. Draw each organelle diagram from memory after reading. Do NCERT Read + Diagrams. Target: 100 MCQs.
9 July (Wednesday) — Vectors Part 2 | Atomic Structure Part 2 | Cell: Unit of Life (Complete)
Physics: Vectors Part 2
Move into operations: Subtraction of Vectors, Multiplication of Vectors (scalar/dot product and vector/cross product), and Important Numericals. The cross product formula and right-hand rule are the most commonly tested items in NEET Physics from this chapter. Do not skip the numericals — Vectors numericals appear in NEET in the context of Work (dot product) and Torque (cross product). Target: 30–40 MCQs.
Chemistry: Atomic Structure Part 2
Cover the four Quantum Numbers (n, l, m, s) with their allowed values and physical meaning. Then learn the Shapes of s, p, d Orbitals — NEET has asked directly about orbital shapes and the number of nodes. Study Energy Level Diagrams and work through all NCERT examples in this chapter. NCERT examples in Atomic Structure are frequently lifted directly into NEET questions. Target: 40–50 MCQs.
Biology: Cell: Unit of Life (Complete)
Complete the chapter with three remaining topics: Plasma Membrane (fluid mosaic model, Singer and Nicolson, selective permeability), Cell Wall & Cytoskeleton (composition differences in plant vs fungal vs bacterial walls), and Plant vs Animal Cell comparison. After reading, draw and label both cell types from scratch — this active retrieval locks the diagram details far better than passive re-reading. Target: 100 MCQs.
10 July (Thursday) — Laws of Motion Part 1 | Periodic Classification Part 1 | Biomolecules (Carbs + Proteins)
Physics: Laws of Motion Part 1
Cover Newton's three laws with precise statements (not paraphrases — NEET tests exact wording). The distinction between mass and weight (scalar vs vector, kg vs N) appears in direct questions. Understand the concept of inertia and how each law follows from it. Fill in the formula sheet: F = ma, W = mg, action-reaction pairs. Target: 30–40 MCQs.
Chemistry: Periodic Classification Part 1
Cover the Modern Periodic Law (properties are periodic functions of atomic number, not atomic mass — Mendeleev's error corrected by Moseley). Learn the features of the modern periodic table: 7 periods, 18 groups, and why period lengths are 2, 8, 8, 18, 18, 32, 32. Understand Groups & Periods and the block classification (s, p, d, f). Short notes are the tool here — build a one-page summary of the block structure. Target: 40–50 MCQs.
Biology: Biomolecules — Carbohydrates & Proteins
Biomolecules is one of the highest-yield Biology chapters in NEET. Start with Carbohydrate Classifications (monosaccharides, disaccharides, polysaccharides) and their functions (energy storage, structural roles). Then cover Protein Structure & Functions — primary, secondary, tertiary, quaternary structure; peptide bonds; examples of structural vs functional proteins. Diagrams are non-negotiable here — draw the peptide bond and protein folding levels. Target: 100 MCQs.
11 July (Friday) — Laws of Motion Part 2 | Periodic Classification Part 2 | Biomolecules (Complete)
Physics: Laws of Motion Part 2
Apply Newton's Laws to real systems: Applications of Laws (Atwood's machine, connected bodies, pulley systems), System of Particles Intro (centre of mass concept), and Pseudo Force Basics (non-inertial frames). The Important Numericals for Laws of Motion are the payoff for the week — a machine-like approach to FBD (free body diagram) → apply F = ma → solve is all you need. Drill at least 15 numericals today. Target: 30–40 MCQs.
Chemistry: Periodic Classification Part 2
Deepen the periodic table understanding with Electronic Configurations of exceptions (Cr, Cu, and their patterns), Position in Periodic Table from configuration (period = highest principal quantum number; group from valence electrons), and Anomalous Properties (why H, Be, and B don't fit simple periodic trends). Short notes. Target: 40–50 MCQs.
Biology: Biomolecules (Complete)
Finish the chapter with three remaining biomolecule classes. Lipids: types (triglycerides, phospholipids, sterols) and their roles (energy reserve, membrane structure, hormones). Nucleic Acids: structure of DNA and RNA, types of RNA (mRNA, tRNA, rRNA), and the difference in their sugar (deoxyribose vs ribose) and bases (DNA has Thymine; RNA has Uracil). Enzymes: structure (apoenzyme + cofactor = holoenzyme), mechanism (lock-and-key and induced-fit), and types of inhibitors (competitive vs non-competitive). Target: 100 MCQs.
12 July (Saturday) — Friction | Periodicity in Properties | Cell Cycle & Division
Physics: Friction
This is the last Physics content day before the mini test. Cover Static and Kinetic Friction (and the key inequality: static friction ≤ μₛN, while kinetic friction = μₖN). Learn the Coefficient of Friction (μ = tan θ at limiting friction angle), Angle of Friction and Angle of Repose (both equal arctan μ — a frequently tested relationship), and Rolling Friction Basics. Formula sheet is critical today. Target: 30–40 MCQs.
Chemistry: Periodicity in Properties
This is the most graph-heavy Chemistry section in Week 2. Draw the trend charts for all four properties: Atomic and Ionic Radii (decreases across period, increases down group), Ionization Enthalpy (increases across period with exceptions at Be/B and N/O), Electron Gain Enthalpy (generally increases; Cl > F anomaly), and Electronegativity (Pauling scale, F is highest). Know the exceptions by heart — NEET loves testing the anomalies (Be vs B, N vs O, F vs Cl). Target: 40–50 MCQs with Trend Charts.
Biology: Cell Cycle & Division
Cover the complete cell cycle: G1 → S → G2 → M phase (interphase + mitosis). Then go through the five stages of Mitosis (Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase, Cytokinesis) with what happens at each stage — NEET asks about spindle formation in Metaphase, chromatid separation in Anaphase, and the significance (growth, repair, asexual reproduction). Then cover Meiosis: Meiosis I (reductive division, crossing over in Prophase I, four substages) and Meiosis II (mitosis-like, equational division). The significance of meiosis (variation, halving chromosome number) is a direct NEET question. Draw the complete cell cycle diagram. Target: 100 MCQs.
13 July (Sunday) — Mini Test Day
Do not study new content today. This is a pure performance day. The targets from the PDF:
- Physics: Attempt 60 MCQs covering Vectors, Laws of Motion, and Friction. After completing, analyze every mistake and identify the formula or concept that caused it. Do a Formula Recall session — write every formula from the week's Physics chapters from memory, without looking.
- Chemistry: Attempt 60 MCQs covering Atomic Structure, Periodic Classification, and Periodicity in Properties. After completing, review Trend Charts from memory — draw all four property trend graphs before checking your notes. Revise only the weak topics you identified from wrong answers.
- Biology: Attempt 180 MCQs covering Cell: Unit of Life, Biomolecules, and Cell Cycle & Division. After completing, use Active Recall Flashcards — write the key fact from one side, the answer on the other, for every wrong answer.

14 July (Monday) — Full Revision Day (Backlog Clearance)
The final day of Week 2 is not a rest day — it is a structured clearance session. The tracker specifies four activities:
- Quick Notes Revision: Go through every short note and formula sheet from the week. Do not re-read chapters — only your condensed notes.
- Formula & Trend Sheet Recall: Write Physics formulas and Chemistry trend charts entirely from memory. Check against your notes. Any gap is a target for re-revision.
- NCERT High-Yield Active Retrieval: For each Biology chapter covered this week, close the book and write down the 5 most testable facts. Then open NCERT and check what you missed.
- Complete Mock Error Analysis: Return to every wrong answer from Sunday's Mini Test Day. For each one, write the correct concept in your own words. This is the final consolidation step before Week 3 begins.
By the end of 14 July, you should be confident on Vectors, Laws of Motion, Friction, Atomic Structure, Periodic Classification, Periodicity in Properties, Cell: Unit of Life, Biomolecules, and Cell Cycle & Division — nine sub-topics with strong NEET weightage. That is a strong foundation for the chapters ahead in Phase 1.
